The 2026 champion. Scoring a flawless 10/10, Top Ryde Baker's House is doing everything right. Yes, there is almost always a long wait, but it is lowkey worth it. This is a LOADED, monstrously sized roll that nails the crust, the meats, the pate, and the freshness. It is the pinnacle of Sydney Bánh Mì.

A flawless, loaded monster of a roll that is entirely worth the queue. 10/10 perfection. The crust shatters perfectly, the pate is rich and umami-packed, and the meat-to-veg ratio is spot on. This is the one to beat in 2026.

The queue is no joke but this banh mi absolutely delivers. The crispy pork crackling inside is next level. At $14 it's not cheap but the portion size makes up for it. Easily the best I've had on the north side.

As someone who grew up eating banh mi in Saigon, this is the closest I've found in Sydney. The pate tastes exactly like home. My wife and I drive 40 minutes just for this.

An essential Sydney eating experience. The balance of textures — crackling bread, creamy pate, crunchy pickled vegetables — is textbook perfect.

Worth crossing the city for. This is banh mi at its absolute peak — every component works in harmony to create something greater than the sum of its parts.
